New Delhi, July 14 -- A 29-year-old labourer working at a construction site of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in southeast Delhi died after he fell from a height of more than 40 feet, police said on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sachin, a resident of Sultanpuri in outer Delhi, police said, adding that he originally hailed from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
"Sachin was employed with a private company, which is working on a section of the expressway under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project," read the statement of Delhi Police.
Police said an information was received from Holy Family Hospital at 1.13 pm on Saturday that a man was brought dead following an accident at a construction site in the Ashram area. "D...
