NEW DELHI, March 21 -- A total number of 29 First Information Reports have been registered in just 10 days since the 'Modal Code of Conduct' for the General Elections 2019 came into force. Among the total FIRs against various political parties in Delhi, three cases each lodged against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), for violating the model code of conduct.

Special CEO Satnam Singh said that the poll body has also removed more than 1.8 lakh hoardings, banners and posters since the enforcement of model code of conduct.
