Bhopal, April 16 -- A 25-year-old youth, Satish Kakote, died of electrocution on Tuesday morning in the Sanjay Nagar area of Shahjahanabad after an electric current reportedly spread through several homes. The incident occurred around 7 AM and is suspected to have been caused by a technical fault and damaged electrical wiring at the power distribution point (DP) of the electricity department.
According to preliminary reports, a short circuit at the DP resulted in a surge that travelled across multiple homes, damaging several appliances and tragically claiming a life.
