Ranchi, Feb. 3 -- In the case of shooting and killing of catering worker Rahul Singh alias Lefty on the night of January 30, the police had registered a case in Mihijam police station on the application of his father Rajesh Kumar Singh. Police recovered the deceased's scooty and arrested Ranvijay Singh and Rajesh Kumar Sao on the basis of investigation.
The accused confessed to the conspiracy to murder for the lure of Rs.3 lakh. Three weapons were used in the incident, out of which one country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered. Ranvijay Singh has also gone to jail in the Balram Singh murder case in the past.
