Bhopal, April 17 -- In the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the election campaign will stop at 6 pm on April 17 in the 6 Lok Sabha constituencies of Madhya Pradesh where voting is to be held from 7 am to 6 pm on April 19. Voting is to be held in 3 assembly constituencies of Balaghat Lok Sabha constituency Baihar, Lanji and Paraswada only from 7 am to 4 pm, hence election campaigning in these areas will stop at 4 pm on April 17.

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that there is a provision to stop the election campaign in the Lok Sabha constituency 48 hours before the scheduled end of voting.
