Jabalpur, May 13 -- A 19-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend in Jabalpur on Monday after she reportedly ignored his calls. The incident took place at Devtai Hill in Jabalpur, where the accused Abdul Samad, a resident of Jabalpur who originally hails from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is said to have killed the victim, Laxmi, in a fit of rage.
Laxmi, originally from Khajuraho in Chhatarpur district, had come to Jabalpur with her family and was working as a laborer in the renovation of an ancient temple at Devtal.
