Garhwa, March 31 -- Out of 1170 polling stations, 188 have been declared as critical polling stations in the district, Garhwa Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer ShekharJamuar and SP Dipak Kumar Pandey said in a joint press conference on Saturday.
To ensure free and fair elections and maintain law and order during the Lok Sabha polls, district election officer-cum-deputy commissioner has directed all arms licence holders in the district to immediately deposit their licensed weapons and ammunition at the nearest police station by April 02. Otherwise initiated proceedings for cancellation of their arms who failed to surrender their arms till the time fixed.
