Chandigarh, Oct. 24 -- Haryana on Friday registered 17 more Covid-19 fatalities as the death toll due to the coronavirus in the State reached 1705, the State health department said in a health bulletin. A total of 1270 fresh cases pushed the total infections to 1,55,765, bulletin stated.
Of the fresh deaths, three each were from Faridabad, Hisar; two each from Bhiwani, Gurugram and one each from Karnal, Palwal, Jhajjar, Kurukshetra, Fatehabad, Kaithal and Jind, the state health department said in a health bulletin. A total of 1180 Covid-19 patients were cured and released from the hospitals in the State, taking the total count to 1, 43, 978.
