India, May 19 -- Urging farmers who applied for tubewell connections up to 2023 to deposit the requisite amount at the earliest, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday announced that 1,450 tubewell connections will be issued to farmers within the next three months. The announcement was made during a public meeting held in Mahendragarh, where the Chief Minister unveiled a slew of developmental projects for the region.

Among the key announcements was the establishment of a new grain market in Mahendragarh and a proposed cow sanctuary in any village where suitable land is available.
