Bhopal, March 24 -- A 13-year-old student committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling Bedi Village of Chhatarpur after a grocery shopkeeper abused him of caste, locals protested along with Bhim Army demanding the arrest of the accused and strict action, and submitted a memorandum to the CSP.
Kishora Ahirwar, a resident of the village, said Son Anshu Ahirwar was studying in class 8. On Saturday afternoon, he went to the grocery store to buy goods and when he touched the goods in the shop, the shopkeeper Ram Shukla abused him of caste. He closed the gate of the shop and beat showered kicks, punches and assaulted him with shoes.
