Ranchi, Feb. 18 -- The Central Government has approved an amount of Rs 147 crore to the Jharkhand Fire Department for modification and renovation. The department will 11 new fire stations, a State level training center and a state level fire fighting control room with the approved amount.
Apart from this, fire brigades, small fire tenders and motorcycle fire tenders will also be purchased.
This amount has been received under the 15th Finance Commission and it will be used to modernize the fire department.
Dhanbad Fire Department faces many problems due to lack of fire stations and resources. But now with new fire stations and resources, the department will have ease in its work.
