Bhopal, May 1 -- On the second special Hajj flight, 107 pilgrims left the city for the annual journey to the holy twin cities on Wednesday amid scenes of devotion and camaraderie.
The flight, operated by Air India Express, will take the pilgrims to Ras Al Khaimah, from where they will make their way to Mecca, the holiest of places for Muslims around the world.
The annual Hajj pilgrimage is one of the five pillars of Islamic faith and is mandatory for those who can afford to undertake the journey, which has become significantly expensive in recent years.
