BHOPAL, Feb. 25 -- Bhopal is set to introduce a fleet of 100 electric buses. The initiative, supported by the Government of India, aims to provide an eco-friendly, efficient, and modern transportation system for the city's residents.

Mayor Malti Rai on Monday reviewed the e-bus prototype at the Auto Expo, held at the Global Investor Summit venue, and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav for their support in making this initiative a reality.

She assured residents that Bhopal will soon benefit from a cleaner and more sustainable mode of public transport. The fleet will be managed by Bhopal City Link Limited (BCLL).
