BHOPAL, March 2 -- Special Judge, POCSO Act Rashmi Mishra sentenced 10 years' of rigrous imprisonment to accused who kidnapped and raped a minor girl.
The Special Judge, POCSO Act, convicted Mahesh Ahirwar, the accused of rape, under sections 376, 366 of the Indian Penal Code and 5/6 of the POCSO Act.
Finding the accused guilty, a decision has been passed punishing the accused with 10 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5000 under Section 376 Indian Penal Code and 5/6 POCSO Act and 5 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1000 under Section 366 Indian Penal Code.
In the case, the government has been represented by Special Public Prosecutor Divya Shukla and Jyoti Kujur.
