Bhopal, March 27 -- A tragic accident occurred in the Nishatpura police station area of Bhopal on Tuesday afternoon when a 10-year-old boy suffered severe burns after coming in contact with a high-tension power line while flying a kite.
According to reports, the child, identified as Shaurya, was flying a kite near his house around 3 p.m. when the kite became entangled in the high-tension wire. As he tried to retrieve it by pulling the string, he suffered an electric shock, leaving him severely burned.
Residents in the area immediately rushed him to Kamla Nehru Hospital, where doctors confirmed his condition to be critical.
