New Delhi, May 20 -- To add in the Delhi Police force, more than a thousand newly recruited male constables, who are trained in new criminal laws, cybercrime countermeasures, unarmed combat techniques and commando tactics, have passed out from the Delhi Police Academy, an official statement said on Monday.
The total strength of constables to be recruited in Batch No 124 is 4,088. Among these, 1,308 have taken oath so far and the remaining 2,780 constables will take their oath and participate in the passing out parade at Delhi Police Academy in Jharoda Kalan, on Tuesday, at 7 am. Special Commissioner of Police, HRD Nuzhat Hassan will take the salute, the Delhi Police said in a statement.
