Kolkata, Feb. 1 -- Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has strongly refuted allegations that the vehicle Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was travelling in was attacked and vandalized at Harischandrapur, a village that falls in Bengal bordering Bihar.

"I was in the helicopter when I got a message that Rahul's car has been vandalized . Immediately inquired into the incident and was told that the incident had taken place in Katihar district of Bihar and not in Bengal . the car entered Bengal with the glass already broken . I condemn this attack . but also criticize those people who are creating a drama out of this," Banerjee said.
