Jamshedpur, April 24 -- Strongly condemning the heinous attack on Hindu pilgrims in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale on Tuesday termed the incident a "targeted anti-Hindu religious massacre" and a "direct attack on the honor and self-respect of the nation."
In a sharply worded statement, Kale said that the incident, which occurred on April 22, was not an isolated act of violence but a meticulously planned and hate-driven assault. According to reports, unidentified gunmen stopped tourist vehicles and opened fire on innocent pilgrims after identifying their religion, leaving several dead and many injured.
