Kolkata, March 20 -- The Narendra Modi Government on Tuesday came under fire from Mamata Banerjee for failing to construct Ram Temple in Ayodhya and "yet trying to lecture others on how they should practice their religions."
The Bengal Chief Minister was addressing a select audience of the Marwari community which has a sizeable presence in North Kolkata and Howrah constituencies.
"Some people have been lecturing me on religion. They (BJP) say that Hindus are not free to practice their faith freely in Bengal but I want to ask you whether you celebrate Durga Puja, Holi, Navaratra, Guru Parab freely or not.
