Bhopal, May 11 -- An evening of patriotic fervour took a reflective turn on Saturday as citizens assembled at the Shaurya Smarak in the state capital to pay floral tributes to Bharat Mata. The event, originally intended to express solidarity with the armed forces, coincided with news of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan, softening the mood but not the emotions.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with senior BJP leaders, attended the ceremony.
