BRAHMAPUR, July 7 -- The BJP, Brahmapur Assembly constituency unit led by former Ganjam district president Kanhu Charan Pati and incumbent chief Bibhuti Jena on Monday sent a memorandum to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik through the RDC (Southern Division), urging for fulfillment of various demands.
Mentioning that liquor shops have mushroomed across the city and some of them are located within 50-100 metre radius of the Telugu High School, Sub-Registrar's Office, BeMC office and BeMC Commissioner's residence, they said students, women and senior citizens are scared to pass the way near these liquor shops.
