Ranchi, Feb. 16 -- Women Doctors Wing IMA Jharkhand organised a large screening training program for CHOs, Sahia Saathi and Sahias for comprehensive screening of cervical, breast and mouth cancer for Ranchi district at Ranchi Sadar Hospital, on February 14. This training program will be given sequentially to 300 CHOs, 150 Sahia Saathi and 3 thousand Sahias working in Ranchi district. In the second phase, this program will be run in Sonahatu block on 22nd March.
During the training, 50 community health workers were divided into 10 groups and given training on via screening. In via screening, 5 per cent acetic acid is applied on the cervix and light spots appear on the suspicious areas of cancer. After this, 200 Sahias and 50 CHOs were also ...
