RANCHI, Jan. 30 -- In Jharkhand about 76.8% of children aged between 14- 16 years know how to use a smartphone. Of these 63.4% report having used the device for educational purposes in the past week while 70% said to have used it for social media during the same period. This data was stated in the fourteenth basic edition of the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2024 which was released in New Delhi on Tuesday by Pratham co- founders Dr Madhav Chavan and Farida Lambe.
