Manila, Oct. 24 -- Zamboanga City scored its second straight championship in the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup, beating Nueva Ecija, 21-11, after the second leg at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba on Friday night.
Zamboanga City quickly went to work at the get-go, opening a 10-4 lead with 6:26 left in the final.
Nueva Ecija had a mini-run, scoring three points to draw to within 7-10 with six minutes to go, but Zamboanga City finished the job by pulling away for good, scoring the match point with 2:14 to spare.
Alvin Pasaol finished with eight points for Zamboanga City, which won PHP100,000 for the second straight time.
