MANILA, Nov. 26 -- The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) on Wednesday formally endorsed its Women's Priority Legislative Agenda (WPLA) for the 20th and 21st Congress, urging members of the House of Representatives to champion measures that promote and protect the rights and welfare of Filipino women.
PCW Chairperson Ermelita Valdeavilla and other officials called on legislators to support, sponsor, and refile key gender-responsive bills, emphasizing the need to place women's experiences at the center of policymaking.
