Manila, April 9 -- Most parts of the country will experience warm and humid weather due to the easterlies on Wednesday, a regular holiday in commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 5 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said easterlies or warm wind from the Pacific Ocean will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA said at least 16 areas will experience "danger" level heat index, particularly Dagupan City, Pangasinan, which is forecast to have a 44C heat index.
