Manila, March 14 -- Most parts of the country will continue to experience warm weather with isolated rains, the weather bureau said Friday.

"Cloudy skies are seen across Eastern Visayas so there's a high chance of rains in that area," Grace Castaneda of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

Moderate to heavy rains could result in flash floods or landslides.

Castaneda said the prevailing easterlies will continue to cause warm weather over the rest of the archipelago.

Isolated rains caused by thunderstorms are also likely, especially in the afternoon, she said.

The weather bureau said temperatures in Metro Manila, Tuguegarao, and Davao could reach 33 C and in Zamboanga, 34 C.
