Manila, April 11 -- Inflation in Western Visayas remained steady at 2.7 percent in March, matching the figure recorded in February, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) report released on Friday.
This rate is lower than the 3.1 percent recorded in March 2024.
Despite the slight year-on-year drop, Western Visayas posted the second-highest inflation rate among regions outside the National Capital Region (NCR), trailing only Cagayan Valley, which posted 2.9 percent.
