Manila, March 3 -- James Van Ramoga and Sofia Adriana Calvo clinched victories in their respective divisions at the Sunrise Sprint Triathlon last Sunday in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Van Ramoga completed the 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run in 1 hour, 17 minutes, and 37 seconds, edging out John Paul Daquioag (1:17:46) and Mejares Naune Elison (1:21:07).

In the women's division, Calvo secured the title with a time of 1:39:17, beating Lucienne Aragones (1:44:15) and Princess Kedtag (1:52:17). Meanwhile, Bastien Poupelain of France and Agnieszka Najnigier-Pierzynowska of Poland triumphed in the IRONMAN 70.3 event.
