MALASIQUI, Nov. 20 -- Partial damage to agriculture caused by Super Typhoon Uwan (international name Fung-wong) in Pangasinan has breached the PHP1 billion mark, according to the latest report by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

The report, released on Thursday, said of the total amount, PHP102.3 million was on palay or rice crops, PHP605.5 million on fishery, PHP561.6 million on high-value crops, and PHP37.2 million on corn.

A total of 13,232 farmers and fisherfolk have been affected, it said.

Partial damage to livestock and infrastructure in the province was at PHP224.5 million and PHP176.5 million, respectively.
