Manila, Nov. 11 -- Seven more were added to Super Typhoon Uwan's death count for a total of 25 as of Tuesday night, according to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).
In an interview with reporters, OCD Deputy Administrator Assistant Secretary Bernardo Rafaelito Alejandro IV said 19 of the fatalities were from the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).
"Ang dumagdag ay sa CAR (the additional fatalities are from CAR)," Alejandro said.
The OCD reported 18 Uwan deaths earlier in the day.
Three deaths were also reported in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), and one each in Regions 5 (Bicol), 6 (Western Visayas) and 8 (Eastern Visayas).
Alejandro said 29 were reported injured and two were still missing.
