Manila, June 27 -- The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) have launched the UN80 Commemorative Stamps to mark the Philippines' 80th year in the United Nations (UN).

In a news release on Friday, the PHLPost noted the stamps honor the country's founding role in the UN and its ongoing commitment to peace, multilateralism, and development.

The stamp set was made available to the public on Thursday. It features a se-tenant design for PHP16 and an Official First Day Cover for PHP18.

The PHLPost said the issuance of the stamps highlights the agency's role in preserving national heritage and promoting international awareness through philately or stamp collecting.
