U-turn slot in front of QC Academy to be closed Oct. 12

Manila, Sept. 30 -- urn slot, both northbound and southbound, in front of Quezon City Academy along Edsa will be closed to motorists starting Oct. 12 to give way to the busway project, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced Wednesday.

Directional signage will be installed within the vicinity of the affected U-turn slot starting Oct. 5 to notify motorists of the impending closure.

Early this week, the U-turn slot near Trinoma Mall and North Avenue was also closed to motorists.

Motorists are advised to take the following detour routes:

-- From northbound going southbound, affected vehicles may take U-turn slot after Congressional Avenue (in front of Landers)
