Manila, April 11 -- The Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas (TUPV) based in Talisay City, Negros Occidental has been recognized as the number one and number two top performing school in the latest Electronics Technicians (ECT) and Electronics Engineer (ECE) Licensure Examinations, respectively.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the April 2025 examinations Thursday night.

In the ECT examination, Jayvee Fuentebella and Jan Frederick Valenton both landed in first place with a rating of 95 percent.

TUPV is the top performing school among those with 30 or more examinees, having 78 passers --a passing percentage of 96.30 percent, surpassing the national average of 81.75 percent.
