Manila, Feb. 4 -- The announcement of US President Donald Trump to delay tariff on Canadian and Mexican goods earned positive feedbacks from investors, allowing Philippine shares to bounce back to the 6,000 level.
The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) on Tuesday climbed 3.5 percent, or 206.02 points, to 6,089.06.
All Shares also improved by 2.36 percent or 83.32 points to 3,617.93.
All sectoral indices closed in the green territory, with the biggest gains coming from the Services counter, which went up by 4.76 percent to 2,014.96 points.
