Manila, July 18 -- Transmission lines and facilities remain "under normal operations" as of 5 p.m. Thursday amid continuous rains brought by Tropical Storm (TS) Crising in several parts of Luzon, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).

Based on the 5 p.m. bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the center of Crising is estimated at around 135 km. east of Aparri, Cagayan, moving west northwest at 20 kph.

It is reported to be packing sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

The storm is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by 2 p.m. Saturday.
