Manila, Nov. 8 -- State weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday advised several communities near Magat, Angat, Cagayan and Agno Rivers to take precautions as the five dams in the area are conducting preemptive water release.

PAGASA said one gate each was opened in Ambuklao and Binga Dams, two in Magat Dam; and three each in Angat and Ipo Dams.

Areas likely to be affected are Barangay Ambuclao in Bokod, and Barangays Dalupirip and Tinongdan in Itogon, Benguet.

Affected areas by Magat Dam's discharge, on the other hand, are Ramon, San Mateo, Aurora, Cabatuan, Luna, Reina, Mercedes, Burgos, Naguillian and Gamu in Isabela, as well as Alfonso Lista in Ifugao.
