Manila, Feb. 3 -- Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco on Tuesday said it may be time to revisit the deregulation of airline ticket pricing as lawmakers probed soaring domestic airfares and tourism infrastructure gaps.

"Perhaps it is high time that we revisit the regulations or lack of regulations as far as airline ticket pricing is concerned," Frasco told the Senate Committee on Tourism, noting that the airline industry is deregulated under a 2011 executive order and international agreements.
