Manila, March 6 -- Once again marking a first for the Philippines, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte inaugurated the Tandang Sora Museum, the country's first women's museum. Its location on Banlat Road holds deep historical significance, as it is the birthplace of Melchora Aquino, widely known by her revolutionary name, Tandang Sora.
Mayor Belmonte emphasized, "This museum is more than just a collection of artifacts-it stands as a testament to the strength, struggles, and triumphs of Filipino women throughout history.
