Manila, June 11 -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in the Soccsksargen Region (TESDA-12) has declared that National Certificates (NCs) being sold online are false information intended to deceive the public.

"This is big fake news," said TESDA-12 Regional Director Jerry Tizon in a radio interview on Wednesday.

Tizon urged the public not to be swayed by these online claims about NCs for sale, which falsely promise that they can be used to secure employment opportunities.

With the recent release of TESDA's Electronic National Certificates (e-NC), Tizon expressed confidence that all certificates bought online would not be honored because the legitimate ones carry the necessary security features.
