Manila, Sept. 25 -- Public school teachers are set to receive their Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) for Fiscal Year 2023 after the Department of Education (DepEd) was declared eligible for the incentive, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) announced Thursday.

Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman said the eligibility of DepEd employees, including teachers, affirms President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to recognize the vital role of educators in strengthening the country's education system.
