MANILA, Nov. 24 -- Tropical Depression (TD) Verbena is now approaching Caraga Region, and could possibly make landfall over the area within the day, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 11 a.m. bulletin on Monday.

Verbena was last tracked 205 kilometers east southeast of Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, moving westward at 15 kph.

The TD maintained its strength, packing maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 55 kph.
