Manila, Jan. 21 -- Tropical cyclone Ada has weakened into a remnant low, the weather bureau said Wednesday.
This low pressure area was last tracked 1,285 kilometers east of Central Luzon, according to the 5 p.m. bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
It is forecast to dissipate within the next 48 hours, PAGASA said.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said the northeast monsoon continues to bring strong to gale-force gusts across most of Luzon, Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Zamboanga Peninsul and the provinces of Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi.
