Manila, Nov. 7 -- The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on Friday urged all local government units (LGUs), especially those near the projected track of incoming tropical cyclone Uwan, which may become a super typhoon, to conduct all "preemptive or preparatory activities" to mitigate its impact.
"We have (already) advised Northern Luzon, specifically Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), CAR (Cordillera Administrative Region, yung (and) Region 1 (Ilocos Region) to prepare dahil hindi lang po hangin ang kalaban natin dito.
