All public school teachers in Taguig City will soon enjoy a place where they can get a reprieve from their immense workload right within their workplace.
This, after Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano announced on Thursday a proposal to build a teachers' lounge in every public elementary and high school in the city within three years.
"We recognize that our self-sacrificing teachers need a reprieve from their immense workload," Cayetano said during the inauguration of Taguig's first-ever teachers' lounge at the EM's Signal Village Elementary School in Central Signal on Thursday.
The fully air-conditioned facility, he said, will have entertainment area, pantry, lounge and conference room.
