Manila, Feb. 1 -- Taguig City police arrested all its top 10 most wanted persons in January.
The arrests involved the service of warrants for statutory rape, other crimes against persons, and violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165), including illegal possession of dangerous drugs, in the city and nearby areas.
Taguig City chief of police Col. Julius Anonuevo attributed the feat to sustained and intelligence-driven operations carried out with the National Capital Region Police Office and other law enforcement agencies.
