Manila, Dec. 22 -- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), in coordination with the Philippine Consulate General and the Migrant Workers Office (MWO), and the Hong Kong Authorities, has repatriated the remains of overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Maryan Pascual Esteban, the lone Filipino fatality in the deadly fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, in November.
At the media briefing on Monday in Mandaluyong City, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said the remains of Esteban arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal Saturday evening, and were flown to her home province in Tuguegarao on Sunday.
