BUTUAN CITY, Dec. 3 -- The Surigao del Norte Police Provincial Office said 203 individuals were arrested for various crimes during a series of law enforcement operations conducted in the province in November.

Of the total number, 49 were considered fugitives, including the eight most wanted persons on the regional, provincial, and municipal levels in Caraga Region.

"The eight most wanted persons arrested include the top 1 and top 5 in the regional level, and the top 1 in the provincial level. The rest were top wanted persons in the municipal levels in Surigao del Norte," provincial police director, Col. Warren Dablo, said in a statement Wednesday.
