BUTUAN CITY, Nov. 18 -- Police in Surigao del Norte arrested 78 suspects and seized illegal drugs, fish, lumber, and gambling cash in a three-day anti-crime blitz, officials reported Tuesday.

The Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations from Nov. 14-16 netted eight fugitives, including two "Most Wanted" individuals.

Col. Warren Dablo, provincial police director, said operations confiscated 15.66 grams of narcotics valued at PHP106,488 and arrested seven drug suspects.

Authorities also apprehended 48 individuals for fisheries violations, seizing 955.5 kilos of fish, and arrested 12 suspects in anti-illegal gambling stings.
