MANILA, Nov. 24 -- Sulong Pinoy is a growing movement that wants Filipinos to choose and support more locally made products. It believes that when we buy what Filipino workers, farmers, and small businesses create, we help build a stronger and more self-reliant country. This effort is led by Negosyo Advocates, a network of entrepreneurs, local producers, cooperatives, academics, and supporters who want to improve local production and make it easier for Filipino businesses to grow. Their first national conference showed how serious this goal is and how many people are ready to take part in the change.
